Present Status of the Project:
Engineering Report was approved by MEMD, Uganda on April 14, 2011.
Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) Report submitted for approval
by the National Environmental Management Authority.
Resettlement Action Plan submitted for approval by the Chief Government.
The tender document prepared by EIPL has been approved by MEMD’s contract
committee, PPDA & Solicitor General.
