Present Status of the Project:
All Project components were successfully completed well with in the specified Time Schedule. First Generating Unit was commissioned on 18th January 2008 and the Project was accorded the Commercial Operation (COD) w.e.f.6th February 2008.
Both Units have been operating satisfactorily since their commissioning and cumulatively achieved more than 100 % of design energy generation during the first three quarters of the current financial Year 2008 - 09.
