Our portfolio of ongoing assignments consists of both 'concept to commissioning' solutions as well as specific modules for some of the projects. We have a presence in both hydro and thermal power plants.

HYDRO PROJECTS
PATIKARI HYDRO ELECTRIC PROJECT : 
2 X 8 MW Patikari Hydro Electric Project was developed by Patikari Power Project Limited and located on Bhakli Khad River in Mandi District, Himachal Pradesh. Energy Infratech in consortium with CKD Blansko strojirny a.s, Czech Republic was selected as EPC contractor for the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of E&M equipment. Energy Infratech was leader of the consortium and was responsible for the complete engineering of E&M equipment and CKD Blansko Strojirny a.s supplied the Turbines and Generators for the Project.
Both the units were successfully commissioned and tested and operated beyond 110 percent capacity. Units were synchronized and connected to HPSEB Grid on February 06, 2008.
MALANA II HYDRO ELECTRIC PROJECT : 
Everest Power Private Limited is developing 2 X 50 MW Malana II Hydro Electric Project. The project is located in Kullu District, Himachal Pradesh. Energy Infratech is providing Engineering Services, Construction Supervision and Project Management services for the project.
Project access Roads and Bridges have been completed and 5 tonne carrying capacity ropeway has been converted to 30 T/Hr Mono – Cable for transportation of materials like Aggregate, Sand, Cement & fly ash from powerhouse to damsite. The construction of the civil works is in advanced stage. Power House excavation was completed. Erection of turbines and genrators is going on. Dam Excavation is in progress and concreting has been started in some portion of the Dam body.
2 X 2.5 MW Sainj Hydro Electric Project is being developed by Himashakthi Project Private Limited. Sainj Hydro Electric Project is located on Sainj Khad, tributary of river Yamuna in Shimla District, Himachal Pradesh. Energy Infratech is providing engineering and project management services and responsible for all engineering activities including preconstruction investigations, preparation of Detailed Project Report, detailed engineering, tender drawings and technical specifications, providing technical support during acquisition of all statutory clearances and construction supervision.
The Project is successfully Commissioned and Synchronized on 14th January 2010. All project components were successfully completed within the schedule time. Both Unit were synchronized and connected to HPSEB Grid (Shillai Sub Station). The spinning of both units of 2.5 MW each has successfully carried out at 100% load.
TEESTA III HYDRO ELECTRIC PROJECT :
1200 MW (6 x 200 MW) Teesta Stage III HEP Project is being implemented by M/s Teesta Urja Ltd. in the North District of the State of Sikkim. EIPL is providing design engineering, construction supervision and project management services for the Project. The Project is in construction since January 2008 after receipt of all the statutory clearances in December 2007. To-date 35% of the Project Works have been completed and the Project is on track for the target commissioning of 1st Unit in August 2011.
All major surveys and Investigations have been completed and the data is being utilized to do the
Detailed Engineering of the Project. Excavations of all construction Adit have been completed and Out of the total tunneling works of 31.7 km approx. 22.86 km is completed.
Diversion Tunnel: River Diversion is completed and construction of coffer dam is in progress.
HRT: 8.5 km out of 13.8 km excavation of the main HRT is completed. Erection of Gantries is in progress and 4 gantries already been erected out of 7.
Pressure Shaft: The Vertical Pressure Shaft pre-sink work has commenced.
Power House: Excavation of MAT to service bay and Cable Tunnel has been completed. Benching of Power House cavern is under progress
Design & Supply of Electro Mechanical and Hydro Mechanical progressing as per schedule. Procurement of Butterfly Valve is finalized.
DEMWE UPPER HYDRO-ELECTRIC PROJECT :
Athena Demwe Power Private Limited is developing Demwe Upper Hydro Electric Power Project in Arunachal Pradesh, The project is located on the Lohit River, Arunachal Pradesh. Energy Infratech is providing Concept to Commissioning Services including Pre-construction stage investigations, preparation of Pre-Feasibility Report, preparation of Detailed Project Report, Preparation of tender documents and drawings, assistance in acquisition of clearances, assistance in bid and award of EPC Contract, Detailed Design, Construction services and Project Management. Contour survey, Draft DPR preparation and EIA/EMP studies are going on.
Athena Demwe Power Private Limited is developing Demwe Lower Hydro Electric Power Project in Arunachal Pradesh, The project is located on the Lohit River, Arunachal Pradesh
Energy Infratech is providing Concept to Commissioning Services including Pre-construction stage investigations, preparation of Pre-Feasibility Report, preparation of Detailed Project Report, Preparation of tender documents and drawings, assistance in acquisition of clearances, assistance in bid and award of EPC Contract, Detailed Design, Construction services and Project Management.
Final DPR submitted to CEA / CWC on 1st week of September 2008 and also received the observation on the DPR. The clarification on the ‘Observation by CEA’ is being prepared by Energy Infratech Pvt. Ltd. and the same will be submitted by 1st week of March 2009.
CWC has already approved the water availability studies prepared by M/s Energy Infratech Private Limited.
650 MW Karuma Hydro Electric project is being implemented by Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, Government of Uganda. Energy Infratech is providing consultancy services and Project Management services in two phases. In Phase-I EIPL will provide consultancy services for Technical, Financial, Environmental Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Studies, Project Design, Preparation of Bills of Quantities, Tendering and Procurement of a General Contractor and in Phase-II: Construction supervision and Testing and Commissioning of the project.
Works related to Phase – I commenced since September 2009 and all the contractors have been mobilized for pre construction stage Survey & investigations works. As per the project schedule EIPL has submitted the project inception report to MEMD and mobilizing resources to put the project on fast track.
KHOLONGCHU HYDRO-ELECTRIC PROJECT (486 MW): 
Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited is developing 486 MW Kholongchu Hydro Electric Projec in Bhutan. Kholongchu Hydro Power Project is proposed as an R-O-R type development located on Kholongchu river in Trashi Yangtse District about 210 Km from Sandrup Jonkhar town. The project proposal envisages the construction of 51 m high concrete gravity dam with 130 m length at crest level. HRT running through a length of 5.9 Km. the underground power house is proposed to house units with rated capacity of 122.5 MW each and the evacuation of power is proposed through a 120 km long transmission line to Rangia in the state of Assam in India.
Energy Infratech is providing consultancy services for Preparation of Feasibility Study Report (FSR) and Detailed Project Report (DPR) including Investigation Works for the project.
Presently Energy infratech is mobilizing the resources for survey and Investigations works.
The 450 MW Kynshi Stage-I Hydro Electric Project is being developed by Athena Kynshi Power Private Limited on Kynshi River in West Khasi Hill district in the State of Meghalaya.
Energy Infratech is providing Concept to Commissioning Services including Pre-Feasibility Studies, Pre-Construction Stage Investigations, Preparation of Detailed Project Report, Environmental Studies including EIA & EMP Reports, Preparation of Tender drawings and Tender documents, assistance in Bid award of EPC contract, acquisition of all statutory and non-statutory clearances, Detailed Design, Construction Drawings and Project Management services.
Status of the Project
· Energy Infratech has successfully completed the Pre-feasibility Studies and prepared the Pre-feasibility Report.
· The ToR had been approved by Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF) on 16th May 2008.
· All the resources are being mobilized for survey and investigation work and initial investigation & survey has been started.
· Data collection for EIA & EMP has been started.
· Geological Mapping of the Dam Site has been completed.
· Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) is underway and the target for preparation of DPR is Dec 2010.
THERMAL POWER PROJECTS
COCANADA COMBINED CYCLE POWER PROJECT:
2600 MW Cocanada Combined Cycle Power project has two stages. 1st Stage is of 1000 MW and 2nd Stage is of 1500 MW subject to the availability of Gas. This project is proposed to be located in the coastal region of Bay of Bengal near Komaragiri village, near Kakinada in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. Energy Infratech has signed an agreement for providing services from “Concept to Commissioning” which include the engineering and management services.
ToR for EIA for the project is cleared by Ministry of Environment and Forest. General Layout for the project is prepared and land acquisition is under progress.
2640 MW BHAVANAPADU COAL FIRED THERMAL POWER PROJECT:

2640MW Bhavanapadu Coal Fired Thermal Power Project is being set up by East Coast Energy Private Limited at Kakarapalli village, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh in two stages of 1320MW (2 x 660 MW) each. This project is located on the coast of Bay of Bengal relying upon de-salinated sea water and a new coal jetty to handle imported coal which would meet part of the fuel requirements.
It is proposed to adopt supercritical cycle parameters with unit size of 660MW to get advantage of higher generation efficiencies and reduced environmental impact.
Energy Infratech is Design & Engineering Consultant and rendering Project Management Services for the project.
Athena Chhattisgarh Power Private Limited is developing 2X600 MW Singhitarai Thermal Power Project in Chhattisgarh. Energy infratech Private Limited is providing Concept to Commissioning Services including Pre – construction stage investigation, preparation of Detailed Project Report, Preparation of tender documents and drawings, assistance in Construction Services and Project Management Services for completion of 1200 MW Singhitarai Thermal Power Project.
The Singhitarai TPP is proposed to adopt subcritical cycle parameters for the power cycle to be more efficient and competitive in the market. Captive coal block has been allotted for the project. Project is already on fast track by achieving the milestone by signing Power Purchase Agreement for sale of total power (1100MW) generated with PTC on 06.05.09.
Project status as on July 2009
· Public hearing completed on January 2009
· MoEF Clearance received on 17th July 2009.
· 125 acres of project land already been acquired for the project
· Official letter from MoEF is expected to get in July 2009 for the Environment clearance for the project
· Airport Authority Clearance is obtained
· Engineering activities for the Project is in progress
1980 MW Thermal Power Project is being developed by Krishnapatnam Power Corporation Limited in Chhattisgarh, India. The project is planned to be developed in two stages (2x 660 MW) in stage –I, and (1x 660 MW) in stage –II.
Energy Infratech Private Limited is providing Project Conceptualization, Project Management and Engineering till FC, followed by Detailed Engineering, Project Monitoring, Constriction Supervision and Project Management Services.
Project Status as on July 2009
· DBRs preparation for the Project completed for all the systems
· Applications & required documentation for obtaining Statutory Clearances were forwarded and Draft EPC spec (Technical) was submitted for review.
· Public hearing completed successfully on 4th December, 2008.
· Submitted the revised RFP for EPC.
· Bids are invited for EPC.
· Received KPCL comments on draft DPR. Expected to submit the revised document by is week July 09.
