Location: Dam Site is located at Chungthang 400 m d/s of the confluence of Lachen & Lachung Power House is located at Singhik upstream of the confluence of Teesta with Talungchu Total Catchment area at Dam site 20,560km2 Installed Capacity  6 x 200 MW (1200 MW) Dam Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam 60 m high Spillway Two Bay open spillway on Left Bank 1 No. 10m dia. Spillway Tunnel on Left Bank 1 No. 10m dia. Diversion cum spillway tunnel on Left Bank 1 No. 11m dia. Flushing Tunnel on Right Bank Diversion Tunnels 1 No. 10 m dia. Approx. 1 km long Diversion Tunnel on Left Bank Power Intake/ HRT 7.5 m dia. Power Intake Tunnel/ HRT approx. 14.6 km long  Pressure Shafts: Three no. horizontal/vertical pressure shafts of 4m diameter and 1215m length Pressure Shaft 2 No. 4m finished dia. Horizontal/ Vertical/ Inclined Pressure Shaft Tailrace 9m dia. D Shaped Powerhouse Underground Power House 46 m high x 215 m long x 20.9 m wide Turbines 6 Nos. Vertical Pelton rated at 200 MW with 10% continuous overload capacity.
